Etherow Country Park - May

Etherow is my “local patch.” Situated along the banks of the River Etherow, it is one of the country’s 1st country parks. With 240 acres of greenspace, it offers over 200 species of plants and more than 100 species of birds. Being on the outskirts of the Manchester conurbation makes it a busy place but most people stick to the central path leaving large areas for exploration.
